Huge thanks to Chris Shields who has kindly scanned and sent me some images of his fantastic Rik Mayall scrapbook. What an amazing treasured item it is too, with so many lovely early cuttings.
Enjoy browsing the pages of this wonderful scrapbook and if you’d like to see even more rare photos and read about Rik’s early career, then Chris’s book; Early Rik: Thoughts of a Clown, Rik Mayall in the Early Eighties is available to purchase on Lulu and Amazon
Please get in touch if you have a scrapbook you’d be willing to share on this website.

Love this whole article, you did wonderfully and did justice for Rik. I also was wanting to make a full article of Rik and Alan Rickman as well since I have a great love for them both and it would be on more of the American side. Once I’m able to get everything I needed that is. Also when I have the money I’ll definitely be buying all 12 of the buttons and wear them proudly. Have a wonderful day.
Hester 😊
